In celebration of the 15th anniversary of Certified Australian Angus Beef (CAAB), the de Groots Media team were invited to Kingsleys Australian Steakhouse. It was a fantastic night where the country came to the city to teach us a little about CAAB, but mostly, we all just shared a few stories and had a good laugh.
Speakers on the night included Jane Tyrrell (of Tyrrell’s Wines), Executive Chef Keith Higginson and CAAB CEO Phil Morley. Susie Chisolm, a dedicated CAAB producer, also gave us a taste of rural life, sharing a few of her farming anecdotes which left the crowd (and me!) in hysterics of laughter.
The evening, which was part of the Crave Festival, included a six-course dinner, designed by Head Chef Paul Micklewright, which showcased superior beef cuts, matched perfectly with a selection of Tyrrell’s wine.
